How are you?! Hope you're doing well. I thought I would check in and let you know what's happened to Simified. It's a question I've gotten a lot lately and I've pretty much gone nuclear war on a few of the Simified pages that used to exist, including the website.
To put it simply: I'm no longer interested in The Sims. Shockingly sad. But that doesn't mean I'm completely done with The Sims - oh no. I still have this love for The Sims as a game, the developers and great people who pour their hearts into the game everyday, and most importantly the amazing community we have. I just need to switch things up.
So rather than force myself to try and make builds and videos for the game, I've just taken a step back. It wouldn't be any fun if it was forced and I don't want to "pretend" to be happy or be interested in the game when I'm not - I'm not a person that likes to pretend.
Simified YouTube channel and all the videos will stick around that way you can watch (or re-watch) videos as you like - also just in case I decide to return in the future. I'll try and share some builds from time to time on The Sims 4 Gallery too! Once I get some inspiration for building back, that is. And speaking of the future, what am I doing now? Well, I've converted most of the Simified accounts to personal accounts and I've created a second YouTube channel. I don't have a plan for the second YouTube channel just yet, but I do know that I want it to be more personal and not focused on games or The Sims. You're free to follow me here on my blog or on the various social media things:

I hope you all understand where I'm coming from. I don't want to be negative about this or create a shit storm. I don't want to be sad about this and I don't want you to either! So don't be. I'm still here. I just want to pursue things I have more interest in which right now isn't The Sims. I love this community so much, like a second family, and thank you all so much for your support so far and going into the future and wherever that may lead.
